Farewell from the 2025-26 Collegiate Division Executive Officers

Apr 21, 2026

To the Collegiate DECA Community,

Just over one year ago, you entrusted us to lead the organization as Collegiate DECA Executive Officers. This was something we never took for granted. This opportunity allowed us to get to know all of our amazing members and grow the organization with you all in mind. To this end, we want to thank everyone.

One of our primary goals coming into this term was to engage with as many of you as possible and ensure all questions were answered. Everything from our call pictures to one-on-one calls, to late-night conversations at conferences, to all the questions you asked, to the motivational minute guesses, our favorite accomplishment was getting to experience it all with you. Our positions were never about us; they were always about making sure you all were set up for success.

DECA members aren't just ordinary people; we have an intrinsic drive to Go The Extra mile in everything we do and help support the people around us at all times. Seeing so many like-minded members throughout our term filled our hearts with a desire to support this community. Our fondest memories came from the times we were all together!

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank and congratulate you all on every success throughout this year. We had 79 new and re-founded chapters join our vibrant community, demonstrating that Collegiate DECA is always growing. These new and re-founded chapters will add to the stories of over 4,500 Collegiate DECA members across over 200 college campuses. You all have attended club and organization fairs, created internship programs, held successful association conferences, grown your social media presence, served on content-creation teams at conferences and much more. This shows how Collegiate DECA members go above and beyond to create The Next Big Thing.

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the incredible DECA Inc. staff for their support in helping us achieve our goals and aspirations this year. Their dedication, hard work and commitment are what make our program, division and organization thrive. We are especially grateful to Mrs. Debbie Taylor for her outstanding leadership and the positive impact she has had on us. Your guidance has meant so much, and we truly couldn’t have accomplished this without you.

We can’t wait to see your continued dedication, commitment and hard work continue to pay off in the years to come. All of our members' efforts have shone brighter than diamonds this year. Thank you for going the extra mile with us!

This is your 2025-2026 Collegiate DECA Executive Officer team signing off!
