Angela Ye
Angela Ye is a member of the 2025 ENGAGE Content Creation Team for Collegiate DECA and currently serves as President of UNLV DECA. She attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she studies Marketing and Global Entrepreneurship. Angela has been involved in DECA since high school, where she discovered her passion for leadership and community. Her favorite DECA memory is meeting new people at international conferences and always being inspired by the driven, passionate members around her.
Gilberto Maldonado Cruz
Gilberto Maldonado Cruz proudly serves on Collegiate DECA’s ENGAGE Content Creation Team. From Puerto Rico, he is a Marketing and Education student at the Interamerican University of Ponce. As a former association officer for Puerto Rico DECA, one of his favorite memories is attending the State Leadership Convention, where he connected with inspiring leaders and strengthened his passion for creativity and leadership.
Myles Frueh
Myles Frueh is one of the Collegiate DECA members serving on the 2025 ENGAGE Content Creation Team. He attends Alexandria Technical and Community College where he studies Business Management and Sales Marketing. Myles’s favorite DECA memory so far has been being able to lead the DECA chapter at his college. Working with his fellow students and members, Myles enjoys watching them grow, learn, and have fun through DECA!
Xahymi Ioan Vélez-Ithier
Xahymi Ioan is a passionate Collegiate DECA member serving on the 2025 ENGAGE Content Creation Team. She is a freshman at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Advertising. This year, she proudly founded the Collegiate DECA chapter at her university. Xahymi’s favorite DECA memories include attending the 2024 and 2025 International Career Development Conferences, where she served as a flag bearer and competitor in the High School Division, celebrating leadership and innovation.
