November is almost here, and DECA Month is bringing the energy!
DECA Month is the perfect opportunity to get your entire chapter involved, celebrate your members and show your school what DECA is all about. And this year, chapters will have an easy way to stay engaged all month long.
DECA will be releasing a social media challenge with daily prompts for chapters to complete throughout November. From highlighting members to showing off your chapter, these prompts are designed to get members involved, create some friendly competition and fill your feeds with DECA spirit.
But do not stop at the daily prompts.
Take the challenge and make it your own. Turn a prompt into a chapter meeting activity, challenge another chapter, create a competition between members or use the prompts as inspiration for something completely new. You could even create a chapter leaderboard and see who can complete the most challenges throughout the month.
DECA Month is also a chance to bring members into the planning. Ask them what they want to see, give them opportunities to lead activities and let their creativity take over. The more members have a role in DECA Month, the more connected they will feel to the celebration.
And do not let the excitement stop when November ends. Use DECA Month to discover what gets your members excited, then carry those ideas into the rest of your year.
