October is National Principals Month, and DECA is celebrating the school leaders who help make meaningful learning experiences possible.
From supporting chapter activities to championing career and technical education, principals play an important role in preparing students for college, careers and leadership.
This month, we encourage DECA chapters to #ThankAPrincipal and share how their support makes a difference. Write a thank-you note, highlight your principal on your chapter’s social media or invite them to see your school-based enterprise in action. Show them what their investment in DECA helps students accomplish.
Celebrating your principal (and informing them about DECA) is also a great way to complete activities for DECA's promotional campaign as you earn recognition for your chapter.
