James McQuillan is the DECA Southern Region Vice President for 2026-2027. A four-year member of Mississippi DECA, James served as Vice President of Marketing with a mission to make Mississippi DECA more visible and engaging for students across the state by reviving its social media presence. He’s extremely passionate about celebrating small wins and connecting chapters. Outside of DECA, James balances academics and two part-time jobs with deliberate time management. Whether he’s posting, planning or pulling an all-nighter to help a chapter, James is always be present in whatever he is involved in.
