The 2024-2025 High School Division Executive Officer Team is excited to introduce our Program of Leadership. We can’t wait to help members Be the One through advocacy, communications and leadership development.
Advocacy
Advocating for DECA and CTE doesn’t start and stop in February! This year, your Executive Officers will work towards organizing ACTE resources and providing script and email templates to make your advocacy efforts easier. We hope to educate and prepare members to share what DECA means to them.
Communications
Through updating DECA’s Student Video Call Series, the 2024-2025 Executive Officer Team aims to promote collaboration amongst associations. As One DECA, we should look to each other for resources, encouragement and ideas. Brainstorming sessions on One DECA calls will increase networking opportunities. Furthermore, updating regional call schedules will ensure more engaging calls with specific information.
Social media is vital to communication, and through utilizing Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms, your Executive Officers hope to create an exciting community this upcoming year. Leadership Development
In addition to association collaborations via One DECA calls, we look forward to releasing additional resources to promote running for office at the local, association and executive levels. DECA prepares emerging leaders, and your Executive Officers strive to further the leadership journeys of members.
We look forward to serving all DECA members this year. While our Program of Leadership outlines a few targeted initiatives, the Executive Officers are here to support members, chapters, associations, advisors and DECA as a whole.
