DECA is excited to announce two brand new Corporate Challenges for Collegiate DECA members to participate in during the 2026-2027 school year.
These challenges provide Collegiate DECA members with opportunities to demonstrate the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom through innovative challenges. Each challenge has a unique focus and a specific set of required tasks and timelines. DECA's partners, Adobe and Chick-fil-A, are also providing up to $6,000 in cash prizes to the winning teams in each challenge.
Adobe: Authentic in the Age of AI Challenge
Consumers are growing wary of AI-generated marketing. In this challenge, teams of two to three Collegiate DECA members will select a local company and develop a campaign that uses AI efficiently throughout the marketing process, from start to finish, while staying authentic and preserving customer trust. Create your concept as a 10-slide pitch deck using Adobe Express tools and submit a 2-3 minute video explaining your campaign.
- Who: 2-3 members
- What: Pitch deck of up to 10 slides created in Adobe Express and a 2-3 minute video presentation
- Due: January 15, 2027
In partnership with Adobe, the following awards will be provided:
- 1st Place Team - $1,500
- 2nd Place Team - $1,000
- 3rd Place Team - $500
Chick-fil-A: Connecting with Gen Z: The Next Generation of Customers and Talent
Gen Z is the next generation of customers and talent. In this challenge, teams of two to three Collegiate DECA members will develop a creative campaign for Chick-fil-A that engages Gen Z as customers, Team Members, or both. Create a video of up to five minutes explaining your campaign and how you will reach Gen Z.
- Who: 2-3 members
- What: Video presentation up to 5 minutes in length
- Due: January 15, 2027
In partnership with Chick-fil-a, the following awards will be provided:
- 1st Place Team - $1,500
- 2nd Place Team - $1,000
