DECA is excited to welcome these four Louisville professionals to the 2026 Ultimate DECA Power Trip. During the #DECAPowerTrip Learning Labs on Saturday, November 21, you’ll be able to learn from these industry experts and hear more about their fields.
Andrew Soliday | Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory
Andrew Soliday is a marketing director at Hillerich & Bradsby Co., home of the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. He previously served as the museum’s marketing communications manager and has held marketing, e-commerce, and creative communications roles across several industries. A writer and creative leader, he brings experience in building campaigns and telling stories that connect people with a brand.
Katelyn Ganniger | Live! Hospitality & Entertainment
Katie Ganninger is the director of marketing at Fourth Street Live! in Louisville, where she develops campaigns and promotes live entertainment and large events. Her work focuses on creating experiences that bring people together in downtown Louisville. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri–Columbia.
Sarah Contardo | Churchill Downs
Sarah Contardo is senior vice president of sales and strategy for Churchill Downs Racetrack and the Kentucky Derby. She oversees ticketing, premium hospitality, event rentals, customer experience and product development, and has helped shape major improvements to the Derby experience. Before joining Churchill Downs, she held sales and marketing roles with the Cincinnati Reds and Feld Entertainment. She graduated from Miami University with degrees in marketing and finance.
Taki Pappas | KFC Yum! Center
Taki Pappas is a live entertainment professional with more than 25 years of experience in concert touring, talent buying and venue programming. He works with Legends Global at Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, where his work includes event booking and business development. Previously, he held leadership roles with Live Nation, the Durham Performing Arts Center, the University of Texas’ Bass Concert Hall and National Shows 2.
