With summer ending and friends heading back to college or university, I find myself wishing I could stay connected to friends who may live far away. One way I like to stay connected to my DECA friends is through the monthly One Diamond Calls!
When I became a Collegiate DECA member, I was thrilled to partake in the One Diamond Calls. I remember the first month I joined, I saw a few familiar faces I recognized from my time as a high school DECA member. Staying connected with DECA members as I moved on to college made the transition to higher education much easier for me.
Throughout my first three years of college, I was able to attend multiple One Diamond virtual calls and in each of them, I got to know more members in breakout rooms. Not only did this opportunity allow me to grow my network, but it also celebrated members of the month and other achievements.
This year’s executive officer team is proud to announce the return of our One Diamond Calls. In a One Diamond Call, attendees can stay up to date with what is going on in Collegiate DECA and learn leadership skills as we recognize, highlight and celebrate your individual, chapter, and association successes. By joining like-minded individuals for these monthly calls, you may see growth in your leadership and networking abilities!
