Suraj Patel is the DECA NARVP for 2024-2025. Since joining DECA his freshman year of high school, Suraj has learned essential leadership skills that help him obtain his goals and support all the people around him. DECA has allowed him to tackle new challenges with new people to improve members’ experiences. He previously served as the VP of Communications for New York DECA and held leadership roles in his chapter and outside of the organization. He aims to create as many resources as possible to increase opportunity and further grow membership. Suraj takes pride in hard work and aims to help members unlock the hidden potential that lies within everyone. DECA has provided a unique space to express his interest in business and entrepreneurship. When not busy with DECA, Suraj spends his time participating in track and field and loves spending time with friends and family.
